LONGEST NON STOP 20 HOURS TAMIL MODERN DANCE MARATHON ACHIEVEMENTS

EELAM STUDY LINK and THAMIZHA THAMIZHA PRODUCTION as the organiser joint venture with SELAYANG MUNICIPAL COUNCIL (MPS) and PARTY GERAKAN GOMBAK , MIBO and TAMIL DHESAM. The event was estimated to start at 12.00pm but eventually started at 2.00pm despite of the artists whom got lost on the way finding SRI SIANTAN HALL, Batu Caves, Selangor,Peninsular Malaysia.
The event started on 24th Jan 2005 at 2.00 p.m. and ended the next day, 25th Jan 2005 at 10.00 a.m. The record holds 20 hours 10 minutes and 5 seconds. The dancers ranged of teenagers, hitting 70% and remainders include youth and veteran.
The other root sources that boosted the event is the most promising LONDON MURASU,CHUDAROLI of LONDON,THE INDIAN magazine and SILVER SCREEN Magazine. The main objective of the event was to cultivate teenagers, youths and others to keep off the bad activities, example loitering or drugs. All the participants performed gracefully and made audiences to walk away with amazement.
Dancers consist of 365 people, and 247 songs. There were other races that walked in to show their patronage. Eelam Study Link personally feels the event is not only for one community but for multi-race.
